My case study which was selected among tthe top 5 case studies elaborates how Agile Software Development methodology was introduced to IFS product Support team where I am employed & how the change management was successfully managed by giving a vital place for cultural alignment

“Change” has become an unchanging state of affaires in many organizations across the globe. As the volatility mounts organizations are invariably compelled to respond agilely to survive. But unless the change is managed & transformation was subtle, it can lead to severe problems. Cultural alignment plays a vital role in enhancing organizational readiness positively towards the change. This helps the transformation to be more subtle which in turn contributes to realize the change.

This case study mainly focuses on the change took place in the “Finance Product Support” team of the organization where I am employed. Organization believed that the software development approach needed to be more agile in order to face future competition & increase customer satisfaction. This claimed a change in the way existing system work. A change was needed so employees are more engaged, more empowered, more capable on eliminating waste & agile. This case study also discusses how the culture (values, attitudes, and behaviors) was aligned to enhance the readiness positive to the change and how these initiatives supported on managing the change successfully.
